Yesterday was Vogue Fashion Night Out in Milan, a crazy night where shops (mainly in the luxury shopping area of the city) stay open in the night. This is a huge event in Milano

and I guarantee you that, from what I saw, absolutely all Milanese girls are out shopping somewhere that night.. it is worse than on New Year! From what I saw, the main thing about this night is that it gives you the opportunity to enter shops which you would have never otherwise entered into: Chanel, Lanvin, whatever.. it is open doors absolutely everywhere so everyone is welcomed to come and ‘visit’ any shop and potentially as well.. try anything you want… Sort of cool.

For my part, I had a big crush on the Barbara Bui team who was, in my opinion, the most fun and friendly sales team that night.

They let me try on all their gorgeous models.. even the ones which, obviously were not for me.. Was really good fun!

The other things about Vogue Fashion’s Night Out is that.. most shops offer goodies bags! Chanel was offering free nail polish, Ghd free hair products, etc..

… free make-up (at Dior) or hair-dressing (Guess) sessions…

… and there were many DJs and free drinks everywhere… It was very fun to see these shops/the city from this perspective!

Conclusion: a very good night, even if completely over-crowded.. My advice: make sure you buy Vogue and read their guide to select the addresses (goodie bags) which you really want to try out (get) before you start to join the crowd as it is so crowded that you won’t probably have time to try everything! Also, thank you for the link to the article on candles! I light them daily – I sometimes purchase paraffin and sometimes purchase natural beeswax but I can tell you from now on I will only buy the latter!
