If you are around in Florence and are looking for a breathtaking place where to have dinner or simply a drink, head to the Salviatoni! This hotel, located on top of a hill just a bit outside Florence (there is a free shuttle service leaving to/from the Duomo piazza in Florence), is a stunning 15th century villa restored to perfection with fairy tale views over all of Florence (you can see the Duomo from there..) and the rolling green Tuscan hills. A piano plays soft music in the background and the hotel organises frequent aperitivi where they invite local producers to show off the best of Tuscan products. The perfect place after a busy hot day in Florence!
